Senior DevOps Engineer - Singapore

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in NinjaOne's global Platform Engineering organization, partnering closely with our US-based Platform Engineering team to support production software deployments and drive the evolution of our deployment platform.   This role has two primary areas of responsibility:   Production Deployment Engineering – sharing ownership of production deployments and release operations across our SaaS platform to ensure reliable, predictable, and high-quality software releases.    Deployment Automation & Platform Engineering – designing and implementing automated deployment solutions that eliminate manual processes, improve developer productivity, and enable engineering teams to deliver software faster and more safely.    As part of our growing Singapore engineering team, you'll help provide expanded operational coverage for global production deployments while creating additional capacity for the broader Platform Engineering organization to focus on strategic initiatives and platform modernization.   This is a hands-on technical role. You'll collaborate closely with Software Engineering, SRE, QA, Product Management, Release Management, and Security teams to build scalable, secure, and highly automated software delivery platforms.    Location – Hybrid, Singapore What You’ll be Doing   Production Deployment & Release Engineering   Covering the planning, coordination, and execution of software deployments into production environments, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and predictable releases.    Share ownership of production deployment operations with the US Platform Engineering team, providing global coverage and operational continuity across production environments.    Partner with Engineering, SRE, QA, Release Managers, and Product teams to plan, coordinate, and execute production software releases, maintenance windows, and emergency deployments while ensuring deployment readiness, operational stability, and clear stakeholder communication. Develop and maintain deployment standards, release readiness processes, rollback procedures, and operational playbooks.    Contribute to post-release reviews and drive continuous improvements that increase deployment reliability and reduce operational risk.    Serve as the technical escalation point during complex production deployments and critical release activities.    Deployment Engineering & Automation   Design and implement automated deployment solutions that improve software delivery speed, consistency, and reliability.   Build reusable deployment frameworks, standardized deployment workflows, and self-service deployment capabilities.    Develop CI/CD modernization initiatives using CircleCI and related technologies.    Identify opportunities to eliminate repetitive operational work through automation and engineering solutions.    Improve deployment frequency, release quality, and engineering efficiency through continuous process improvements.

5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build & Release Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines. Strong experience supporting and automating production software deployments in cloud environments. Deep expertise building enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.  Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Ansible.    Experience managing artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory.    Experience designing deployment automation, release orchestration, and software delivery workflows.    Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, pull request processes, and release management.    Strong scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.    Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder
