Responsibilities What Are My Responsibilities as a Sales Intern at Steel Dynamics Structural & Rail Division?

Manage a variety of customer service functions, including responding to customer inquiries and emails in a timely and professional manner. Support Inside Sales Representatives by assisting with order entry, quote preparation, and sales-related administrative tasks. Provide exceptional customer support by addressing product availability inquiries, delivery status questions, and troubleshooting customer concerns. Maintain and update pricing information and freight equalization data to ensure accuracy. Prepare, analyze, and distribute reports to support sales operations and business decision-making.

Qualifications What Qualifications Do I Need?

Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a business or marketing related major Must have completed their junior year Preferred GPA at least 2.7 Must be highly proficient with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to help teammates daily Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask Strong data entry skills, accuracy is a must. Priorities frequently change, requiring great flexibility Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality Must be able to travel
