About the Role
The Strategic Asset Intelligence Manager is a senior role within the Insights and Advisory function, providing strategic asset management leadership and estate intelligence to the client. Working in partnership with the Business Intelligence Manager, the role translates asset information, performance data and lifecycle evidence into proactive, evidence-led recommendations that support Asset Management Plans, FMRs, compliance, risk management and investment prioritisation. The role is accountable for ensuring that asset information, lifecycle intelligence and estate performance insight are accurate, assured and aligned to operational delivery, contractual outcomes and strategic estate planning. It will help the client move from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making by using condition, performance, risk, compliance and cost data to inform interventions, lifecycle planning and future investment. Operating as a strategic interface between operations, assurance and the client, the role ensures that estate intelligence not only supports service delivery but also informs long-term estate strategy, optimisation and AI-enabled investment decision support as live performance data matures across the contract.
Role
Within Contract Operating Model Operate as part of the Insights and Advisory function, alongside the Business Intelligence Manager, providing a strategic capability to the contract and client. Provide client-facing advisory support on estate performance, asset risk, compliance and lifecycle planning. Translate operational activity and data into strategic insight and intelligence to support decision-making. Complement the Senior Operations Manager by informing operational performance and service optimisation. Support the Quality, Risk and Governance Manager by providing validated asset intelligence, audit evidence and risk insight. Contribute to a balanced contract leadership model across delivery, assurance and insight. Strategic Estate Insight & Client Advisory Provide expert advice to the client on strategic asset management, estate performance, asset risk, compliance and lifecycle strategy. Translate asset and estate data into clear, structured insight, trends and actionable recommendations. Support development of Asset Management Plans, FMRs, estate strategies, investment priorities and optimisation initiatives. Present asset intelligence outputs within client governance and performance forums. Guide the client toward proactive, evidence-led decision-making using asset condition, performance, risk, compliance and whole-life cost intelligence. Integrated Insight with Business Intelligence Work in partnership with the Business Intelligence Manager to align asset data, reporting and analytical outputs. Ensure asset intelligence is integrated into dashboards, reporting packs and performance metrics. Support development of combined insight products covering performance, cost, compliance
