Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic is seeking a Corporate Development Sourcing Lead to drive the front-end of our strategic transactions practice, focused on identifying, sourcing, and evaluating acquisition targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with senior members of Anthropic’s Corporate Development and leadership teams to build a rigorous pipeline of opportunities aligned with our strategic priorities, and develop the analytical frameworks that inform our most important growth decisions.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for the AI landscape. You’re excited about Anthropic’s mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial, and you want to help us identify the partnerships, acquisitions, and investments that will accelerate that mission. You thrive in ambiguous environments and can synthesize complex information to surface clear strategic insights across Anthropic’s diverse business areas.
Join us in shaping the future of AI while ensuring it remains safe and beneficial for humanity. This role offers a unique vantage point at the intersection of cutting-edge AI research and strategic business development — with the opportunity to build deep pattern recognition across the ecosystem and meaningfully influence Anthropic’s growth trajectory.

• Monitor the competitive landscape and track emerging companies, technologies, and market trends relevant to Anthropic’s strategic priorities across research, products, and infrastructure
• Support due diligence and transaction execution by coordinating with legal, finance, and internal subject matter experts
• Develop financial models, benchmarking analyses, and valuation frameworks to support deal evaluation and investment decisions
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing by documenting learnings, market maps, and deal frameworks that improve the broader team’s sourcing and evaluation capabilities
• Assist in preparing materials and analyses to support decision-making by senior leadership on strategic transactions
• Support the growth of Anthropic's partnership ecosystem, including relationships with cloud providers and enterprise customers
