Corteva Agriscience™ presents an exciting opportunity for a Category Marketing Manager, Fungicides based in Warsaw, Poland As a Category Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing product/portfolio strategies for Fungicides life cycle management. This role is anchored in understanding customer needs and regional asset strategies to drive sales, market share, and profit margins for the designated products. You will be instrumental in developing tactical implementations of marketing plans, product positioning, and demand planning for both new product launches and existing offerings.
Your Responsibilities
Conduct thorough analyses of diverse market segments, gather grower insights, synthesize product feedback, and assess competitive dynamics to discern market trends, identify threats, unearth new business prospects, and effectively address customer needs. Devise and implement holistic product strategies that encompass project scheduling, price evolutions, label extensions, and opportunities for licensing-in. This will entail close collaboration with European Product Managers, aligning with regional business strategies. Lead cross-functional Local Product Concept Teams, providing leadership to define new project requisites, construct compelling business cases, articulate strategic priorities, delineate product attributes, shape value propositions, and craft persuasive sales arguments. Formulate regionally-aligned product pricing strategies, underpinned by insights from market research and projected demand. Deliver annual marketing plans for the designated products, vigilantly tracking their performance against established benchmarks (prices and volumes vs. purchase orders), conducting stage reviews, probing significant deviations, and proposing corrective measures when needed. Location: Warsaw, Poland Qualifications And Attributes To Make a Difference A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering (with an additional master's degree in marketing being an advantage). A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Agribusiness sector with a specialization in crop protection solutions, encompassing roles in product management, development, or commercial functions. A robust understanding of the plant protection market, especially concerning the assigned product portfolio, along with a keen grasp of operational planning and product development processes. A proven track record of creating, launching, and effectively managing brands. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Fluency in English and Polish.
