Plans, assembles, disassembles, reworks and, performs engineering development and qualification tests on various aircraft components and systems. Analyzes and evaluates test results to verify that required parameters have been maintained. Follows blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure products meet specifications and tolerance levels. Performs functional testing using established test procedures and records all results accurately. Will troubleshoot down to the component level. Monitors test completion, maintains test equipment, and documents acceptance or failure outcomes. Operates hand tools, machine tools, and electronic/mechanical test equipment safely and effectively. Loads and unloads electronic units in test beds while adhering to quality and safety standards. Utilizes SAP and computer-based systems to follow work instructions and meet production schedules. Participates in continuous improvement (CORE), safety, and waste minimization initiatives. Collaborates across departments to resolve issues, trains others as needed, and supports audits and compliance activities. 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm Work Environment You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs. In your role, you will be exposed to: Products of various weights and sizes Equipment with moving parts Chemicals that may emit fumes To minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment.
