Electrical Engineer – Entry Level

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an electrical engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design and test the electrical hardware that supports important customer missions. In this role, you’ll turn system concepts into reliable, testable components and subsystems while working closely with a collaborative engineering team.

Requirement Derivation: Translate high-level assembly requirements or concepts into specific, implementable, and testable hardware requirements Hardware Design and Prototyping: Collaborate in the design process to create and prototype hardware items from subsystem designs Hardware Testing: Develop and execute a comprehensive verification test plan for standalone hardware items based on derived requirements

Technical Skills: Proficiency in deriving detailed hardware requirements and designing hardware from subsystem concepts. Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work within a team to achieve design and prototyping goals. Analytical Thinking: Capability to identify and propose improvements to hardware items. Testing Experience: Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans to ensure hardware functionality and quality.

Innovative Mindset: Ability to identify enhancements that improve hardware performance, yield, or usability. Quality Focus: Dedication to delivering high-quality, thoroughly tested hardware items. Leadership: Initiative in leading design and testing processes effectively. Adaptability: Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
