Role
Type: Individual Contributor Key Responsibilities The Payments Modernization Product Development Lead Specialist will own, deliver and manage execution of specific payments modernization initiatives across one or more payment types (Instant payments, ACH, Direct Debit, RTGS, Cross Border payments). Partner with Citi clients to validate and co-create solutions; work closely with internal partners from Sales, RMs, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Compliance (strategic discussions) to deliver results. Partner closely with technology, operations and country product teams throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and validation. Conduct gap analysis between current and future state product offerings, identifying areas for improvement and innovation. Proactively identify and resolve cross-project dependencies and roadblocks. Analyze, manage, iterate, and track the performance of features post-launch, optimizing for user experience and business impact Operate in ambiguous and new situations, and work collaboratively Experience, Qualifications Product management experience. Very strong technical knowledge in payments product space, including technology platforms, operational processes and the overall eco-system. Experience in successful implementation of large, customer experience projects while managing cross functional stakeholders. Direct or indirect external client experience. Passion for the customer and their experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues. Team player with ability to evidence leadership and build consensus. Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, and produce consistent high-quality work Demonstrated ability to proactively solicit input and involves others in decisions and plans that affect them. Excellent verbal, digital, and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
