This position is fully on-site and is located in Jacksonville, FL . Focus day-to-day efforts towards the effective coordination of the production scheduling function and administers production schedule to support product demand ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished products. It also has responsibility for the effective coordination of the material planning and purchasing in support of production to ensure uninterrupted operation and timely delivery to customers of finished products. Interfaces with internal groups including plant production departments to ensure on time delivery of products. In addition, assists in identifying and correcting production issues due to capacity and new product launches and prepares production reports to monitor performance and make necessary adjustments to planned production schedules. Manages Master Data in applicable systems to ensure accurate execution of planning tasks. Detailed tasks include: Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of production orders. Ensures delivery, assembly, and distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules. Prepares orders to vendors as directed for raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material needed for production. Analyses product demand, sales patterns/forecasts, production specifications, and capacity data. Integrates methods based on analyses of trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization's production strategy. Checks scheduled delivery dates of raw materials and makes initial contact with suppliers on late deliveries. Provides watch outs that could impact the production plans due to constraints and align capacity usage and ramp up as needed. Raises the flag regarding operations issues that could impact back-end capacity and overall shipments. Inventories goods received and monitors planning modules or production planning systems and related information to identify discrepancies in components and/or production orders. Manages tools to ensure Operations team has the proper visibility regarding WIP priorities. Includes monitoring of production orders from start to ensure the on-time delivery of products and explains any deviations from commitments. Leads effective communication with the required cross functional teams to ensure optimal performance and results. Appropriately communicates supply projections to stakeholders outside the site. As needed, may provide indirect supervision to non-exempt or wage
