You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the OMNIA Enterprise Architect. Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military collective training.

Analyse complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights aligned with Army training objectives. Design and deliver clear, meaningful visualisations and reports that support operational decision-making. Explore and analyse through use of statistical tools and techniques data to identify patterns, relationships and trends to inform further development. Collaborate with data architects and engineers to ensure analytical outputs align with enterprise architecture and platform standards. Support the evolution of data architectures by contributing analytical requirements and feedback. Communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders to inform strategy and operational improvements. Conduct exploratory analysis and limited prototyping to evaluate emerging data techniques relevant to training analytics. Ensure analytics processes comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements. Author and maintain documentation to ensure analytical processes are repeatable, auditable, and scalable. We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented Data Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about unlocking the value of data to improve Army training outcomes, with a strong ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should be comfortable working across hybrid cloud environments, collaborating with engineers and architects, and contributing to the evolution of innovative, secure, and scalable data solutions. A proactive mindset, eagerness to explore emerging technologies, and commitment to data integrity and governance are essential. This role requires a systems-thinking mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to work across engineering teams in a complex and evolving environment.
