Preferred Experience
2-3 years of RP Operations experience. SS&C/TRAC record keeping platform experience.
Compensation
Grade E2 This position will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis. The hired associate must reside within 35 miles of the following location: Columbus: Three Nationwide Plaza, Columbus OH, 43215 Work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote. It is our intention to fill this role in Columbus, Ohio or Scottsdale, Arizona. However, on occasion, applications from internal candidates working remotely who bring critical industry skills and relevant experience may be considered. This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

Summary JOB SUMMARY: Maintains relationship by: Working with producers /plan sponsors /actuaries / TPAs and PPAs with the on-going administration of plans, providing assistance to clients with governmental audits, preparing and conducting plan sponsor / IP/TPA/PPA meetings, providing expertise and support to sales personnel, development and presentation to prospective customers. Forward Facing: Acts as a liaison between Nationwide Financial and our small to mid size PPAs, TPAs and Plans Sponsors.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: PPA, TPA, Plan Sponsor, Financial Advisor (Investment Professional), Auditor, DOL, Attorneys, Accountants, Actuaries, Payroll Companies, internal and external sales. CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Drives and implements Continuous Improvement ideas pertaining to elevating Customer Service. 2. Communicates with plan sponsors and their representatives, IP, TPA, and PPA regarding the administration of qualified retirement plans. 3. Serves as point of contact for Plan Sponsors, IPs, TPAs and PPAs. Develops and maintains relationships with internal/external clients and business partners. Identifies business needs, service requirements, key issues, alternative solutions, and resources for the clients and business. 4. Creates and uploads participant vesting files. 5. Gatekeeper for customer emails and routing to appropriate location. 6. Processes Loan Reconciliations/Loan Management System (LMS) Conversions. 7. Manages incoming phone calls and e-mail queues from front-line Administrator staff, plan sponsors and investment professionals. 8. Learning plan administration, products, and services. Supports the following: Payroll, statement management and updates, billing and invoices, audit questions, distributions and refunds, tax reporting, default suspense set up and maintenance, auto enrollments, Roth, Roth conversions, On-line Enrollments, 5500 and schedule C reporting, Automatic rollovers, Trust reporting, suspense, data file creation, automatic asset re balancing. 9. Researches, coordinates, and communicates issue resolution with Plans Sponsors, Administrators and Investment Professionals. 10. Supports and assists Administrator front-line staff on NW web-sites and applications. On-boards new plans; trains and assists with functional training. 11. Learning basic ERISA and IRS requirements. 12. Identifies and resolves technical issues. 13. Influences and advises plan sponsors, administrators and investment professionals on process and service options. 14. Organizes and sends mass communications to
