Website: https://www.lincolnbehavioral.com As a Milieu Coordinator (MC): You will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and therapeutic operation of the milieu. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing the overall functioning of the nursing unit(s). Serves as preceptor for MHTs and/or oversees new orientees precepting on the unit. Lead the floor orientation for training newly hired Mental Health Techs modeling ideal therapeutic interactions, boundaries, and professional conduct. Provides real-time feedback, performance coaching and needed competency/training to Mental Health Techs. Participate alongside the charge nurse to complete safety huddles during the change of shift and communicate patient risk factors, behavior updates, etc. Ensure daily patient schedules (meals, group therapy, recreation, hygiene, rest periods) is maintained to provide structure and stability for patients. Qualifications
Job Requirements: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Degree preferred 1-3 years experience in direct patient care AND/OR Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/previous psychiatric experience Physical Demands: The physical demands as described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
