This role requires approximately 15% travel. The Program Manager has responsibility for supporting the delivery and execution of functional programs (customer, operational, project or service). Areas of responsibility of this role will include working with global functions to ensure the execution of large scale and impacting programs remain on track financially, scope is managed, and quality is delivered. This role will be responsible for identifying and managing cross-project dependencies, critical items, risks, and issues. They will communicate at all levels of the organization and be responsible for recognizing and engaging key stakeholders quickly and early in the process. Leads programs with high resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and oversee key global Operations projects, ensuring consistent execution and alignment across regions, business units, and stakeholders. Manage program financials and project data, including budgeting, forecasting, ROI tracking, labor accruals, and maintaining accurate records in the West Project Management System. Drive and support portfolio management activities by preparing business cases, project plans, budgets, and required artifacts to meet governance standards and overall program objectives. Strengthen project team performance by addressing knowledge or skill gaps, fostering collaboration, and communicating key program goals, objectives, and monthly phase-gate/strategic updates. Successfully completed studies in project management, engineering, science, or business Work Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management or Operations Management in process-based manufacturing required It's beneficial to have experience within the GMP or pharmaceutical environment Track record of successfully managing global large-scale, high-risk programs and multiple globally dispersed individuals and disciplines Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Fluent English skills and preferably conversational Danish skills Professional Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Applications, including Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Project Must possess the ability to influence others without direct authority Ability to prepare and deliver reports High level of communication skills with ability to communicate on different levels and global and cross-functional teams Pay Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is kr735,768.00 - kr936,432.00.
