As a Workplace Service Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact and provide operational oversight for one of Google’s dynamic campuses. Our Workplace Service Managers are stewards of Google’s resources, always looking for opportunities to implement innovation, efficiency and service improvements in our operations. In this role, you will lead facility and workplace operations and connect Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) resources to deliver exceptional workplace experiences. You will partner with stakeholders to solve complex issues and drive outcomes that exceed expectations. By managing operational delivery and facilitating discussions across stakeholders such as project management, vendor operations, and customer representatives, you will build trust, drive consensus in complex situations, and ensure REWS effectively meet business needs. Direct day-to-day campus operations and manage third-party Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery, efficiency, and end-to-end operational accountability. Lead occupancy planning and space projects by partnering with stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and executing on-time deliveries that optimize the employee experience. Align cross-functionally with REWS, Audio Visual (AV), and engineering partners to drive consistency, solve complex portfolio needs, and maintain integrated service delivery. Deliver proactive customer service by identifying occupant needs and translating them into seamless workplace environments that maximize overall user experience. Advocate an AI-first culture by adopting enterprise tools and leveraging AI to streamline workflows and improve service execution.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in corporate real estate and workplace experience, including facilities operations, design development and project management of corporate real estate assets. Experience managing outsourced service provider models. Preferred qualifications: Industry related certifications (MCA, CFM, FMA) desirable. Experience overseeing and governing facilities budgets with financial, contract management, and purchasing skills. Excellent communication and people management skills, with strong capability presenting both verbally and in written formats.
