Standard Job Description You will be the Contracts Management Staff for the Precision Fires Launchers Program Area. Our team is responsible for providing contract negotiation and administration support to the Precision Fires Launchers Program Area with a focus on After‑Market Enterprises.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Staff you will be responsible for supporting the Precision Fires Launchers Program Area through end‑to‑end contract activities, from proposal creation to contract administration. US Citizenship Required- This position requires selected candidate to possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests. Basic Qualifications - Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) - Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in both writing and speech. - Contractual and Financial Concepts: Possess understanding of contractual and financial concepts and principles. - Interpersonal Skills: Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external Customers. - Attitude: Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ability to adapt, and desire to assist the company with achieving its goals.
