Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Adjusts the quality assurance test strategy and approach for projects that vary in nature and complexity. Administers the resource allocation plan for the engineering department to execute testing activities efficiently according to timelines and project priorities. Advises managers on the most commonly utilized quality assurance practices and emerging technologies for engineering projects. Allocates resources for training and skill development to help the engineering team improve capabilities and support future quality assurance projects. Assesses the quality and performance of various software applications to identify patterns and anomalies. Assists with the development of test management tools to help assess the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications. Contributes to the development and analysis of quality assurance metrics and reports for the engineering department. Coordinates real-time collaborations and document-sharing initiatives for the quality assurance engineering team to promote effective communication and information exchange. Determines the appropriate level of test coverage, testing techniques, and balance between manual and automated testing for the quality assurance team.
Required Qualifications
5+ years quality engineering experience Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Adept at business intelligence Adept at problem solving and decision making skills Adept at collaboration and teamwork Adept at growth mindset skills Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
