What you'll do
Docusign’s Mobile Team is looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead the team bringing our Intelligent Agreement Management platform to iOS/Android. Docusign is redefining how the world handles agreements, moving beyond e-signatures to a platform that makes agreements smarter, faster, and more connected across the entire agreement lifecycle. Our team's charter is to support the complex use cases of existing enterprise customers while maintaining world-class usability for consumers. The ideal candidate is a people-first leader with a strong iOS / Android engineering background who thrives at the intersection of technology, product, and people. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering.
Responsibility
Lead, grow, and retain a team of iOS / Android engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement Partner with Product, Design, and backend platform engineering teams to define and execute the mobile roadmap, balancing enterprise customer needs with consumer-grade usability Drive technical direction and architectural decisions for the iOS / Android platforms, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability Collaborate with platform engineering teams to bring new capabilities into the mobile experience Establish and evolve efficient development processes, including testing, code review, and release practices Recruit and hire top iOS / Android engineering talent, building a diverse and inclusive team Mentor engineers at all levels, supporting their technical and career development Work with development teams across the organization and with partners at other top tech companies to deliver features together Stay current with the latest iOS and Android technologies, as well as Apple and Google platform updates, ensuring the team adopts best practices Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of overall software engineering experience, with a strong native iOS or Android development background 3+ years of engineering management experience directly leading native mobile teams Proven track record of delivering high-quality iOS or Android apps backed by large-scale cloud or SaaS infrastructure Experience partnering with Product, Design, and QA in an Agile environment Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain engineering talent Preferred Experience overseeing teams that build and maintain native mobile apps, SDKs or modular libraries alongside client applications
