Standard Job Description Set up, program, and operate CNC machines for aerospace manufacturing. Follow detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet strict tolerances. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, quality inspectors, and production staff to ensure first-article success. Perform tooling and machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Basic Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC machinist in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing. Proficiency with CNC programming using Mastercam CAM software 2024 or newer. Proficiency with precision measurement tool to ensure manufacturing precision and efficiency. Proficency reading and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD/CAM models, and GD&T specifications. Loading materials and fixtures, select proper tooling, and configure tool offsets and work offsets. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. US Citizen Desired Skills Experience with programing and operating CNC mills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality improvement methodologies. Computer lierancy skills. High attention to detail. Desire to learn new manufactring skills and methods to manufacture challenging aerospace hardware.
