The impact you’ll make
At Lam, as an Accountant, you're central to managing and enhancing our accounting systems. With a keen eye for detail, you interpret financial reporting requirements, balance the books, and ensure accuracy of profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements. Your expertise extends to monthly report generation, supporting informed decision making. You contribute to Lam's financial accuracy and compliance. What you’ll do
Accounting, Tax & Compliance
Support Taiwan indirect tax compliance, including VAT filings and related tax reporting. Coordinate statutory audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Support SOX and Internal Audit activities, including documentation and control testing. Process and monitor intercompany billings, service charges, and related reconciliations. Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities as needed.
OpEx Forecasting Responsibilities
Support OpEx forecasting for Corporate Functions(eg.HR/Finance/IT...) Prepare QXR forecasts, including comprehensive budget vs. forecast vs. actual variance analysis. Collaborate with functional owners to validate assumptions and explain variances in forecasts. Assist with forecast submission cycles (such as QCR/QFR) and carry out system uploads in Workday Adaptive. Provide scenario analysis and cost impact assessments to support management’s decision-making. Who we’re looking for
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Experience supporting audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting. Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (SAP, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar ERP/FP&A platforms preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred qualifications
Experience with multinational company environments. Knowledge of Taiwan tax and regulatory requirements. Experience with government subsidy, grant administration, or project-based financial reporting. CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
