From helping us find the best talent and welcoming new team members, to keeping our employee records in tip-top shape and making sure everyone gets paid on time, you'll be at the heart of our team. You'll also get to organize awesome associate events, support our fantastic employees, and ensure we stay on top of training. What you add to the team: Preferred candidates will bring demonstrated experience supporting HR functions in a fast-paced retail or service environment, including recruiting, onboarding, and associate relations. A strong working knowledge of HR system, labor compliance, and store-level operations is highly desirable to ensure seamless partnership with management and frontline teams.
Main responsibilities
Partner with Store and Department Management to plan staffing needs and manage full-cycle recruitment. Conduct interviews, prescreen applicants, and coordinate orientation sessions. Represent the company at local recruiting events and job fairs. Maintain accurate personnel files, time and attendance records, and process associate data changes. Serve as liaison between store associates and HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams. Assist with performance management, leaves of absence, and compliance documentation. Support scheduling processes and operational programs. Provide excellent customer service and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Soft skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Competencies: Organizational and problem-solving skills. Customer-focused approach. Adaptability and attention to detail. Knowledge: HR processes and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HRIS systems preferred. Abilities: Manage multiple tasks effectively. Build relationships across teams and with external partners. Represent the company professionally at events. Educational requirements: 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, associate relations, or related field preferred. Travel requirements: Occasional local travel for recruiting events and job fairs. Other requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
