The team provides an innovative web technology platform hosted in the cloud and ensures compliances and security features across our websites. You will be part of Amgen's Global Commercial Client Facing Web Technology Team. As an Adobe AEM Architect (CMS Architect), you will serve as the technical authority for the Adobe Experience Manager platform. You will define the platform architecture, establish engineering standards and governance, and ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise technology strategies. You will partner closely with product teams, developers, operations, infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture to enable successful digital experiences across Amgen. Your responsibilities will include: Own the overall operational health, stability, availability, and continuous improvement of Amgen's global Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. Define and govern platform architecture, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and maintainability across global implementations. Lead day-to-day platform operations, including incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, service requests, and technical escalations for production issues. Oversee operational support activities, including ticket triage, platform maintenance, release readiness, upgrades, patching, and change management to ensure reliable platform operations. Design and implement reusable AEM components, platform services, integrations, and foundational capabilities that enable multiple product and delivery teams. Establish and optimize platform monitoring, observability, performance tuning, caching strategies, and operational metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues. Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Security, Adobe Support, and application teams to resolve complex technical issues and continuously improve platform reliability. Define and maintain CI/CD, deployment, and operational processes that support secure, efficient, and compliant software delivery. Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership for new platform capabilities, integrations, and modernization initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Mentor engineers and platform support team members on AEM architecture, operational excellence, troubleshooting methodologies, and engineering best practices. Drive automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual support activities, and enhance platform reliability and supportability. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional partners to prioritize platform enhancements, operational improvements, and strategic roadmap initiatives. Bachelor's degree and 8 to 13 years of Information Systems experience Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM as a Cloud Service, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, and Adobe Experience Cloud. Experience leading the operational support of enterprise AEM platforms, including incident management, problem management, change management, and production support. Strong understanding of platform governance, engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for enterprise CMS platforms. Experience designing and supporting cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment
