As a  Mainframe z/OS System Programmer SME at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world. There’s never a typical day as a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients. Roles & Responsibilities: z/OS SME Lead is a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding Kyndryl technical teams, stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and even the vendors who work with the client.  As a Lead SME, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role aligned with Kyndryl vision, mission, and values. Has to mentor people, support the ongoing /upcoming training programs – Reskilling, Upskilling, Cross skilling initiatives. Lead and deliver new/existing deal engagements. Act as a bridge between technical and management leadership team on Solution engagements. Identify & utilize new technological assets and solutions to drive innovation, modernization, automation, optimization, and efficiency.  Lead skill building activities – including mentoring, identifying skill areas, gaps, assessments, planning, and execution.  Liaise with System Programmers, Delivery Leaders, Client Partner Executives, SALs and Client.
