Communications Specialist & Operational Support (Fixed Term) This is an exciting opportunity to join Aon and make a meaningful impact within our Group Schemes division. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Communications Specialist & Operational Support professional to join our team on a fixed-term parental leave cover contract, through to August 2027. The Mahi The position sits within our Group Schemes division, which specialises in branded domestic insurance programmes and client-focused service delivery. Supporting a range of communication and operational activities, as well as strategic projects, you will play an important role in ensuring work programmes are delivered efficiently, accurately and within agreed timeframes. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Coordinating and delivering key business-as-usual communications while managing delivery schedules that align with project timelines. Working with a variety of stakeholders to support the development and execution of communication plans for business change initiatives and other key projects, tailored for different audiences. Reviewing and coordinating communications including client campaigns, emails, letters, FAQs, training documents, website and intranet content. Supporting the delivery of operational and project activities across the Group Schemes division, including assisting with data collation, validation, UAT, reporting and analysis to support project outcomes and informed decision-making. Maintaining templates, process documentation and standard operating procedures. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across communications, operations and project delivery, providing exposure to the division’s core deliverables and strategic business initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong communication skills, sound organisational and data management capability and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to a range of audiences. Experience drafting and coordinating client, stakeholder or internal communications. Strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed deadlines within a corporate or professional services environment. Experience supporting system testing activities, data validation, reporting and analysis. Ability to quickly understand insurance-related concepts, products, processes and regulatory obligations. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. Why Aon?
