What we are looking for
Aurora hires talented people with diverse backgrounds who are ready to help build a transportation ecosystem that will make our roads safer, get crucial goods where they need to go, and make mobility more efficient and accessible for all. We’re searching for a Logistics Analyst. This role owns the forward march of data-based logistics initiatives end-to-end — from ambiguous, loosely scoped problems through structured execution and steady-state handoff. Two areas of emphasis anchor the position: ERP as the operational and financial backbone (reporting, planning, and dashboarding for stakeholders including Vehicle Operations, Hardware, Product, and Manufacturing), and building/adapting interim tooling — scripting, GitHub-based solutions, and AI-assisted ("vibe coded") builds — to bridge gaps between existing systems while longer-term platform decisions are made. A likely early initiative for this hire: designing an external-facing request/queuing solution for customers and service providers (e.g., Ryder-type partners), distinct from and complementary to ongoing internal NetSuite portal work. In a landscape where physical AI is becoming an increasingly valued reality, supply chain organizations will lean heavily on the skills this role builds and refines. This is a strong platform for someone aiming toward supply chain strategy or ops-technology leadership. In this role you will Initiative Ownership & Execution Own logistics initiatives end-to-end, from ambiguous problem framing through scoping, execution, and transition to steady-state operations, without relying on pre-existing process infrastructure Translate loosely defined operational challenges into structured plans with clear milestones, ownership, and success metrics Scale processes fluidly between lean, expedient execution and formal, enterprise-grade standards as the situation demands ERP, Financial Systems & Reporting Serve as a core contributor to the organization's use of ERP (NetSuite) as both the operational backbone of logistics execution and the system of record for financial capture, cost tracking, and planning Design, build, and maintain recurring data streams and dashboards summarizing logistics performance — freight, customs, and inventory metrics — for stakeholder orgs including Vehicle Operations, Hardware, Product, and Manufacturing Aggregate and frame data for executive/upward visibility — concise, narrative-driven, decision-ready AI-Forward Tooling & Systems Adaptability Build and maintain interim tools — scripts, GitHub-hosted solutions, AI-assisted/"vibe coded" builds — to bridge gaps between existing systems ahead of formal platform decisions Stay current with rapidly evolving AI and project-management tooling, treating tool fluency as a continuously evolving skill rather than a fixed competency Potential ownership of a specific initiative: an external-to-Aurora request/queuing solution for customers and service providers (e.g., Ryder), developed alongside (not duplicating) internal NetSuite portal work Gap Analysis & Process Strategy Diagnose root-cause discrepancies between intended process design and day-to-day execution Develop and present strategic recommendations that balance speed of resolution against long-term scalability Validate new workflows with Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing stakeholders prior to full implementation Cross-Functional Coordination Serve as the connective layer between
