TM1 Solution Architect | About You As a TM1 Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics solutions using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). You will partner closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, IT, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing solutions while ensuring platform stability, governance, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate combines deep TM1 technical expertise with strong solution architecture, data integration, and stakeholder management skills to deliver business-critical planning and analytics capabilities. TM1 Solution Architect | Day-to-Day

Design, develop, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions, including cubes, dimensions, rules, TurboIntegrator processes, reports, dashboards, and input templates. Lead the end-to-end delivery of new TM1 applications, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, documentation, and user enablement. Enhance and optimize existing TM1 applications by improving performance, scalability, usability, workflows, reporting capabilities, and overall system efficiency. Administer and support the TM1/IBM Planning Analytics platform, including upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration management, performance tuning, and operational support. Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, project teams, and IT partners to define requirements, implement solutions, and ensure successful delivery of planning and analytics initiatives. Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentorship to development teams while driving best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the TM1 environment.

TM1 Solution Architect | Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including solution architecture, application development, administration, and support of enterprise planning and reporting solutions. Strong expertise in TM1 development, including cubes, dimensions, rules, TurboIntegrator (TI), Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel (PAfE). Proven experience designing and building TM1 applications from the ground up, as well as enhancing and optimizing existing solutions to meet evolving business requirements. Experience with data integration and SQL databases, including data modeling, query development, data transformation, and integration with enterprise systems. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and lead cross-functional initiatives.
