Overview
We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead some of the most visible and business-critical AI infrastructure programs across EMEA. This individual will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, technology, and regional delivery, helping Microsoft meet the needs of key AI partners, customers, and stakeholders while navigating an environment defined by ambiguity, changing technology roadmaps, evolving GPU architectures, and aggressive demand growth. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Data Center Campus Director, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Responsibilities
Lead large-scale AI infrastructure programs across EMEA, delivering initiatives spanning datacenter infrastructure, compute, networking, power, cooling, capacity planning, and emerging GPU technologies. Develop and execute integrated program strategies, governance frameworks, milestones, success metrics, and delivery plans that balance business priorities, technical constraints, regional considerations, and customer commitments. Partner across engineering, delivery, capacity planning, commercial, and operations teams to accelerate AI capacity deployment while identifying risks, constraints, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Provide technical leadership across AI infrastructure technologies, evaluating tradeoffs, developing recommendations, and aligning customer requirements with platform capabilities in a rapidly evolving environment. Lead programs through ambiguity by creating clarity from incomplete data, developing scenario-based planning approaches, and communicating complex technical and business tradeoffs to support decision making. Build partnerships across Engineering, Capacity Management, Supply Chain, Construction, Datacenter Operations, Strategic Partnerships, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive cross-functional initiatives, influence prioritization and resource allocation, and deliver executive-level reviews, risk assessments, and strategy updates.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, Infrastructure Delivery, Cloud Computing, or related disciplines. Experience leading complex cross-functional programs in a large-scale enterprise or hyperscale cloud environment. Proven ability to manage large, technically complex programs involving multiple
