The Strategic Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with a defined set of strategically important named accounts. In this full-time role, you will be accountable for achieving sales targets and strategic account objectives, representing the full range of company products and services, leading the customer account planning cycle, and ensuring that customer needs and expectations are consistently met.
What you will do
Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with key contacts within assigned customer accounts Coordinate cross-functional involvement — including support, service, and management teams — to meet account performance goals and customer expectations Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within designated accounts Lead a collaborative account planning process that establishes shared performance objectives, financial targets, and key milestones over a one- to three-year horizon Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, coordinating all necessary internal resources Maintain a 12–24 month view of the sales pipeline, taking appropriate actions to maximize long-term revenue growth while meeting near-term priorities Manage existing accounts and identify new opportunities with System Integrators and strategic partners Complete strategic account plans, meet profitability expectations, and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings in line with company standards The skills you bring Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of demonstrated experience in sales and team collaboration Relevant knowledge and experience in the IT Security and/or Networking market Experience managing large, complex customer accounts in a demanding sales environment Demonstrated success driving both indirect channel sales models and direct sales Strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and excellent oral and written communication skills Strong negotiation and leadership skills with sound problem-solving ability Ability to articulate a clear and compelling value proposition to customers and partners Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Bonus: A track record of consistent achievement in a high-growth or startup environment, with a demonstrated commitment to integrity and accountability Why join Ericsson?
