Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Information Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, component engineering, product testing, or supplier quality verification, preferably in power tools, consumer electronics, or household electrical appliances. Solid understanding of reliability engineering principles, failure analysis methods, and product verification and validation processes. Experience with reliability tools and methods such as Six Sigma, FMEA, Weibull analysis, reliability prediction, DOE, FRACAS, and reliability test planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks early and develop practical solutions to complex engineering issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels. Good English written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with statistical or data analysis software is a plus. Self-motivated, well organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently. Eager to learn and willing to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement reliability evaluation methods for new products, sub-systems, and components, including reliability prediction, life assessment, and identification of key factors limiting product reliability. Analyze engineering design concepts, test methods, and validation approaches to achieve customer-specified reliability, safety, and performance requirements. Develop and execute reliability test plans and qualification strategies throughout the product development cycle, from prototype through production validation. Create, maintain, and drive FRACAS activities, including failure reporting, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, verification, and closure tracking. Apply reliability and quality tools such as FMEA, Weibull analysis, reliability prediction, DOE, and statistical methods to assess risk and improve product robustness. Monitor and analyze test data, field performance, customer feedback, warranty returns, and service failure data to identify product improvement opportunities. Prepare and present reliability status updates, risk assessments, and test summaries in project and global engineering meetings, and support corrective actions through the phase gate process. Collaborate closely with product engineering, quality, manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, test teams, and global engineering teams to improve reliability performance from concept to production.
