Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.   Your Contribution to Success As an Application Engineer for plain bearings, you will provide technical advice and support to customers through effective product selection, bearing design, and the development of custom solutions that add value and enable efficient operation in customer applications. This includes:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers Performing product selection, bearing design and development Initiating requests for costing (RFQs) and APQP process Providing technical expertise and application support to customers and internal stakeholders Acting as the voice of the customer within the organization

You will also support your department with internal strategic projects to help the team grow and drive the company forward.   What’s matter

Master’s degree in Engineering or Materials Science and at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience Strong creativity combined with excellent technical skills and mechanical knowledge Knowledge of plain bearing technology, tribology, and/or polymer materials Ability to interpret and create technical drawings; knowledge of SolidWorks is an advantage Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with customers and colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English Reliable, resilient, and self-motivated Willingness to travel
