MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives.    Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications. Tasks will involve requirements, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi-core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of object-oriented C++ concepts and experience with Linux OS.   Candidates filling this position will need US citizenship and will need a clearance at the level specified in “Clearance Level” or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, the candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to the start of employment.

As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:    - Develop Embedded Software to include drivers, state machines, multi-threaded applications, etc. - Integrate complex algorithms into C++ applications  - Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for both logical and mathematical solutions as well as software for controlling tactical hardware - Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, while referencing Artificial Intelligence in a responsible manner in accordance with Lockheed, contractual, and governmental policies to accelerate documentation, development, and functional tests.  - Contribute to detailed design architectures, ensuring architecture and source code remain in alignment.    Why Join Us   As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting-edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms.
