MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Sr. Manager, ME manages activities and allocates resources within the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure complete engineering support is provided to meet department and company goals. Coordinates manufacturing engineering department activities to ensure that equipment automation and processes are developed, qualified, validated and designed for cost improvement. Identifies areas and means to improve equipment, manufacturing processes, equipment lifecycle and product quality on existing product and processes. This is an ONSITE role based out of Temecula, CA   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Recruits, coaches and develops organizational talent. Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. Drives equipment standardization, technology selection, and platform governance to ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term operational performance Directs capital equipment acquisition, installation, qualification, and commissioning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and production requirements Leads cross-functional teams in the implementation of new automated systems, ensuring successful validation, operator adoption, and sustained performance Provides direction and guidance to exempt specialists and/or supervisory staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. May supervise non-exempt employees. Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action. Demonstrates effective change leadership. Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives. Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills. Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.). Makes decisions regarding work processes or operational plans and schedules in order to achieve department objectives. Develops, monitors and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for department(s).

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in a related field (OR) an equivalent combination of education and work experience Masters Degree (± 18 years) preferred Experience/Background Minimum 9 years of related work experience.
