About the team and the role Parts & Accessories (P&A) is one of eBay’s largest and most strategic categories globally, with Europe representing a key region driven by strong positions in Germany and the UK and significant growth opportunities across France, Italy, and Spain. The Europe P&A team is focused on driving business growth, improving marketplace performance, and delivering better experiences for buyers and sellers across the region. As Head of Europe Parts & Accessories Strategy & Business Operations, you will lead strategic planning, business operations, and cross-functional execution for the European P&A business. Based in Bern and reporting to the Sr. Director & General Manager, Europe Parts & Accessories, you will partner closely with regional leadership teams to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes. This highly visible leadership role leads the Strategy & Business Operations team in Bern and works across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Operations to drive growth, operational excellence, and alignment across European markets. What you will accomplish Define and operationalize the multi-year strategy for the Europe Parts & Accessories business in partnership with regional and country leadership teams. Lead annual planning, operating reviews, investment prioritization, and business performance management across European markets to support growth and execution. Identify growth opportunities and develop recommendations across areas including supply expansion, pricing competitiveness, fitment, inventory health, fulfillment, trust, and cross-border trade. Establish operating mechanisms that improve visibility, accountability, and execution across markets and stakeholder groups. Deliver executive-level analyses, business cases, and recommendations that inform critical business decisions and resource allocation. Partner with Product and country teams to incorporate buyer and seller insights into strategic planning and prioritization, improving marketplace experiences across Europe. Lead, develop, and coach the Europe Strategy & Business Operations team while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment across geographically distributed teams.
What you will bring
10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, business management, finance, marketplace businesses, or related fields. 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams in complex, cross-functional environments. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect strategy, operations, financial performance, and customer outcomes. Proven experience leading high-impact strategic initiatives and delivering measurable business results. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience using data to inform decisions and recommendations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across international teams. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Experience in eCommerce, marketplace platforms, automotive, retail, technology, or related industries is preferred.
