Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategic Sourcing Team, Resiliency and Globalization Manager What You Will Be Doing The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategic Sourcing Organization is seeking a Project Management & Planning Operations Manager, supporting Globalization & Resiliency Manager. The candidate will lead a cross functional efforts to identify and shape new opportunities (using standard templates and scoring) to reduce supply chain fragility, improve Affordability, increase Readiness, and protecting Strategic/Foundational Capabilities through the Make Buy Process while balancing and satisfying multiple strategic objectives. By coordinating with Operations & Strategy, Industrial Development, Business Development, Small Business, and Procurement, the manager ensures each opportunity is both valuable and resilient, guiding it from concept through execution. The manager is the primary point of contact for reporting progress of Aero resiliency projects to Corporate and the “Buy” side of the Make Buy process. Standard JOB Description  Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Monitors the assessment of project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Insures the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
