This role provides strategic leadership for warehouse operations, transportation coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The Warehouse Manager develops and executes operational strategies, leads multiple teams, manages within budget, and ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health & safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution centers, including receiving, order fulfillment and shipping Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and warehouse staff to achieve operational and performance objectives Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time to meet service level agreements (SLAs) Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, order accuracy, fill rate, on-time delivery, and overall labour efficiency Develop staffing plans and manage labour scheduling to meet operational demands Ensure compliance with our company policies, standard operating procedures, industry regulations, and safety standards Collaborate with purchasing, sales, customer service, transportation, and finance teams to optimize supply chain performance Resolve operational issues and customer concerns in a timely manner Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Will require travel between company locations in Calgary Occasional evening or weekend work during critical operational periods
