About this role
The Section Manager, Advocacy & Strategic Initiatives, Corporate Affairs, reports directly to the Director of Advocacy & Strategic Initiatives and is responsible for translating advocacy strategies and enterprise priorities into coordinated, measurable execution. The role manages complex projects and campaigns across Corporate Affairs, develops stakeholder-facing materials and implementation plans, coordinates internal and external partners, and maintains the operating discipline needed to deliver high-quality work on schedule and in a dynamic environment. Working at the intersection of strategy, public policy, communications, and external engagement, the Section Manager supports planned business priorities, including key filings, infrastructure milestones, policy initiatives, and other high-visibility matters, as well as rapidly evolving issues. The role synthesizes complex energy, operational, regulatory, customer, and market information into clear narratives, tools, and action plans that help demonstrate the companys value and advance business objectives. The Section Manager serves as a hands-on project leader and integrator, coordinating work across Communications, Government and Community Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Operations, legal, and business partners. The role identifies execution goals and recommends practical adjustments to strengthen campaign effectiveness and organizational alignment.
