ECD plays a critical role as it adds value to Bain's case teams globally by supporting them with analytics and research solutioning across all industries, cross-industry capabilities, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services. About M&A CoE M&A Center of Excellence (CoE) at BCN is a new CoE being established to support Bain’s capabilities for M&A and Divestitures Practice Bain’s M&A CoE offerings will include offerings across Growth and M&A Strategy, Deal Sourcing and Screening, Corporate Due Diligence (Integration thesis and Synergies modules) , Merger Integration, Divestiture and Separation. The CoE will play a crucial role in improving and further differentiating Bain’s approach across these offerings. The M&A CoE will actively support Bain partners and global case teams across client cases and client development efforts. Additionally, the CoE will also work closely with M&A and Divestitures Practice Leadership in building new IP/ Products/ Tools etc. CoE scope and scale is expected to evolve over time to more deeper domain expertise, broader scope and end-to-end offerings. Current p lan is to grow the CoE and also expand to Mexico in 2027 About You Graduate (8+ years) / Post-Graduate (6+ years) of professional experience We are looking for Managers who are passionate about new business building and can learn about a new domain fast, bringing skills of business judgment, analytics and team leadership to help build a new CoE Prior exposure to domain is not necessary but will be an added bonus e,g. Synergy analysis (and/or cost diagnostics), Due Diligence (M&A or Private Equity), Merger Integration etc. Excellent stakeholder management skills (ability to be a thought partner and trusted advisor to Partners/ Practice); good communication skills Excellent in talent management including hiring, coaching, ensuring positive team environment, and ability to train upskill overall team skillset Strong analytical skills with proven ability of leveraging/ embracing automation/ AI to drive efficiency across products/ offerings Ability to deal with ambiguity, handle multiple tasks and dynamic expectations needed for business building What You’ll Do This position is based in BCN's Gurgaon office and will be part of new M&A CoE, being set-up in Capabilities Cluster. Manager, M&A CoE will play a key role in building and scaling the CoE, working closely with the M&A and Divestitures Practice and BCN leadership. Responsibilities will include helping build teams, developing new products/ productizing existing offerings, streamlining the delivery model, building capability, adopting AI and agentic tools, and helping expanding the CoE across India and Mexico. Overtime also develop/ enhance their own expertise on M&A products. Lead teams of Project Leaders, Associates, and Analysts supporting live client engagements. Ensure high-quality and timely delivery, while remaining hands-on in problem solving, hypothesis development, analysis, and insight generation.
