Summary ** Candidates MUST live in the state of CA, and be a licensed pharmacy technician with the CA Board of Pharmacy (BoP). ** The Pharmacy Technician – Clinical Support Services position is responsible for utilizing their clinical knowledge and excellent customer service skills to provide our patients with the smooth service and delivery of medication and supplies to their homes. You will make a difference by bringing your personal touch and clinical experiences that will support our patient’s one on one care. Coram CVS/specialty infusion is a national leader in the home infusion field. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your Pharmacy Technician skills and experience to work in a closed-door practice setting. Responsibilities • Partner closely with pharmacists to coordinate and process new patient referrals, prescription renewals, and ongoing refill management. • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients, prescribers, and healthcare providers through frequent telephone communication regarding specialty medication refill scheduling, therapy continuation, and service coordination. • Verify insurance coverage and ensure all requirements for dispensing and shipping, including prior authorization approvals when applicable, are in place before medication fulfillment. • Contact physician offices to obtain prescription orders, clinical documentation, laboratory results, and other required information necessary for medication dispensing and continued therapy. • Perform prescription data entry and maintain accurate patient and prescription records. • Gather information for the initial admission of new patients and review patient records to ensure all required documentation is complete. • Coordinate patient refill schedules and deliveries to support continuity of care and uninterrupted therapy. • Manage inventory, create and maintain supply templates within the pharmacy management system, and support pharmacy operations. • Document patient interactions, refill activities, and other pharmacy-related services in the patient's medical record. • Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, reimbursement specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure timely processing of referrals and ongoing patient support.

Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law · Minimum 1 year of experience Position is not remote, must be available to work onsite Preferred Qualifications National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred 2+ years of IV compounding experience Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $31.30 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    Our people fuel our future.
