Rolling Mill Utility-Stacking - SDI Roanoke

Overview Requires stacking & restocking of bundles and the processing of scrap. Also assist with saw operations and training in other rolling mill functions. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following:

Visually inspect material for apparent surface defects Band bundles Operate mobile equipment Work and cover overtime when required Help cut scraps in scrap yard when needed Stack / re-stack steel bundles Any other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent Practical computer skills 2-year verifiable work experience in an industrial environment
