POSITION SUMMARY The Supply Chain Planning IT Architect is responsible for providing onsite technical expertise and application support for Owens & Minor’s Supply Chain Planning platforms. This role focuses on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Snowflake Data Warehouse, SCP AI capabilities in Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and complex system integrations. The role serves as the primary onsite liaison between business stakeholders and offshore IT teams, ensuring system reliability, data accuracy, and continuous improvement. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Act as the onsite subject matter expert for Supply Chain Planning applications including SAP IBP, Snowflake, SCP AI in Snowflake, and SAP CIDS. Provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes. Design, support, and optimize integration architecture between SAP IBP, Snowflake, SAP CIDS, and related enterprise systems. Coordinate closely with Supply Chain business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Serve as the primary onsite IT point of contact, coordinating work between business teams and offshore IT resources. Develop and maintain technical documentation including data models, interface specifications, and operational runbooks. Review system performance and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, performance, and data quality. Support AI/ML-driven Supply Chain Planning capabilities built within Snowflake.
