Work arrangements may evolve based on future business needs What you’ll do: Work with a team of engineers to deliver feature set that are crucial to Revenue growth. Be a part of a world class global organization. Push the bar to solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance. Architect, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance backend services, APIs, and cloud-native Node.js applications on AWS, Azure or similar hyperscale cloud platforms. Design and build Node.js applications that can run close to users on edge compute platforms such as Akamai Edge Workers, AWS Lambda Edge, CloudFront Functions, or comparable CDN/hyperscaler edge runtimes. Design and setup NoSQL databases and Search index required for end-end API flows. Provide mentorship to engineering peers and uphold high standards in code quality and development practices. Champion modern, maintainable infrastructure aligned with industry best practices and emerging technologies Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of experience in API development. Expert Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, Hands-on experience building, deploying, and operating Node.js applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar hyperscale cloud platforms, with a strong understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models. Experience designing for edge execution models, including CDN-based compute, serverless functions at the edge, request/response transformation, caching strategies, latency optimization, and runtime constraints. Experience in relational or NoSQL DB such as DynamoDB, Search technologies such as OpenSearch, Graph DB. Must be able to pick up new backend technologies as the need arises. Must be familiar with API standards and frameworks. Knowledge to evaluate trade-offs based on cost, risk, effort analysis. Practice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization Consideration of customer impact when making technical decisions Ways To Stand Out: Ability to fully utilize agentic development techniques, including AI-assisted coding, automated test generation, code review support, documentation acceleration, and workflow automation, to improve engineering efficiency, delivery speed, and overall development quality. Experience in Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding. Eg. Github Copilot, Claude etc. Experience in Github Actions to create and manage CICD pipelines. Good problem-solving skills Ability to work in a distributed team environment. Good written and spoken communications skills are crucial Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
