Commercial Surveying Graduate First Rotation: Commercial Valuations Location: London Start Date: 6th September 2027 Programme Duration: 2 to 2.5 years Salary: £ 33,000 Contract Type: Permanent Application Closing Date: Thursday 8th October at 5pm What this job involves : Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification. You’ll join us on a 2-to-2.5-year trainee programme, working towards Commercial / General Practice Chartered Surveyor status with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Anyone with a degree can join this programme, irrespective of discipline, as we are focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional . If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete a fully funded online master's degree (MSc) in Real Estate with the University of the Built Environment as part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey . You'll rotate around the business with a focus on commercial and corporate properties, including office spaces, industrial & logistics , and retail. Your first 12-month rotation will be within Commercial Valuations. Following this, possible rotations could include Agency, Capital Markets, Property & Asset Management, Residential, Work Dynamics, and Consulting. What your day-to-day will look like: You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’ll experience : You ’ll be responsible for the preparation of valuation reports for a broad range of purposes , including Red Book valuations You ’ll have opportunities to learn and develop new skills in valuation techniques through the use of Argus Enterprise and excel cashflow models You’ll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings and compile comparable evidence from key property databases and market sources You’ll analyse rental values and yields across different commercial sec tors You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight s and property legislation that may impact our work You’ll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determin e the best solution for clients You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service You’ll work with your team to draft and deliver work such as presentations to clients .
