Clinical Consultant IV, Medical Transportation

As part of KP Enterprise Medical Transportation Services, this position will collaborate with Health Plan and Medical Group stakeholders, Transportation vendors, and subject matter experts to ensure safe and reliable scheduled medical rides for KP members. Leveraging data, process improvement, strategic thought partnership, and project/program management skills, this high visibility position will partner closely with Senior Leaders and serve as a high individual contributor/senior professional who drives the successful implementation of complex initiatives, strategies and projects for the Medical Transportation Services program. This individual will conduct comprehensive assessments of vendors, identify opportunities for optimizing operational efficiencies, enhance financial sustainability, and participate/lead in change management activities. This position requires regular travel to Kaiser Permanente facilities and external vendor sites. Temporary or remote flexible work opportunities may be available upon management discretion.

Serves as consultant to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive successful initiatives and projects within clinical settings across one or more technical areas or workstreams. Provides insight and supports the development and implementation of clinical initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Contributes to clinical or care delivery strategy and supports organizational alignment and prioritization of clinical initiatives with management team sponsors; defining, developing, and evaluating performance metrics. Manages complex projects or project components, participates in and may lead change management activities, and performs data analyses in support of care delivery or clinical initiatives. Supports vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring project plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
