What You Will Do
Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test software for a factory/production environment which exercises and analyzes hardware deliverable products. Develop and maintain ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test fixtures through circuit design, cable design, connector strategies, and top-level fixture design. Work closely with a PCB and mechanical designers, reviewing designs and participating in design reviews. Support cradle to grave efforts including requirements, design, integration, validation, verification, and maintenance of test hardware and software. Design high quality solutions that meet cost and schedule targets. High focus on DFM/DFS standards (Design for Manufacturability / Design for Serviceability). Troubleshoot software and hardware as part of an integration team. Communicate effectively with global engineering, operations, service and program leadership. Experience with software applications using C, C++, C#, NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, or other test software programming languages. Ability to interface ATE test software with laboratory and production tests instrumentation such as but not limited to oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, signal generators, signal analyzers, and/or direct current power supplies.
Qualifications
You Must Have Candidate must have the ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience Experience with developing and maintaining ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test hardware and software for a factory/production environment.
