Core Responsibilities Define current-state and future-state architecture for Global Lab infrastructure. Develop scalable, secure, and repeatable reference architectures and technology patterns. Lead a small engineering team that establishes architectural principles for compute, storage, networking, and virtualization infrastructure. Ensure architectural decisions consider security, reliability, scalability, performance, cost, maintainability, and operational complexity. Serve as a senior technical authority for cybersecurity architecture within local risk environments. Influence technical decisions across organizational boundaries. Work cross-organizationally with IT and Cybersecurity and Digital Risk Management (CDRM) and serve as a senior escalation point for highly complex infrastructure and cybersecurity problems. Support risk assessments and architectural exception processes. Lead cross-functional architecture initiatives without requiring direct management authority. Represent infrastructure architecture and cybersecurity considerations in strategic planning. Mentor senior engineers, architects, and technical specialists.
