Sustaining a leadership position requires us to build a team of highly talented, dedicated and driven individuals RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all plant safety rules, safety training, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times Ensure safe operating practices by performing all necessary pre-production safety checks Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure forklift equipment is operating well Move controls, levers, and devices to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas. Organize and secure materials where loads of materials and pallets are stored Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices Wraps loads as needed; Apply labels on pallets as required Move material to line, ship to customer using the First In First Out system Understands equipment needs and modifications Familiarization with quality standards and line processes Perform and document completed daily housekeeping Performs other duties as assigned The above information reflects the general job duties and should not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements. Experience operating a forklift Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality Familiarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programs Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
