Position
Responsibilities: Level 3 Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances. Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general direction. Level 4 Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. Provides interpretation of complex requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Develops Quality criteria to support supplier selection activities. Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Develops and implements corrective actions. Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under minimal direction. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 3+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods 3+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience with FAI 3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation Level 4 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 5+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing 5+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods 5+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Travel: This position may require up to 10% travel.
