Deputy Project Manager - CFS (IBMS) Position: Deputy Project Manager - CFS (IBMS) Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Employment Type: On-Roll (Full-Time) Department: Projects - Controls & Fire Security (CFS) / IBMS Experience: 8-12 Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager - CFS (IBMS) to manage the execution and delivery of Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects. The role involves project planning, site execution, stakeholder coordination, team management, cost control, and ensuring successful project completion within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in end-to-end execution of IBMS and CFS projects. Manage project activities related to BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA System, and other ELV systems. Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies. Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of project milestones. Drive installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure project profitability through effective cost monitoring and resource utilization. Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation. Manage subcontractors and site teams to ensure quality project execution. Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Support project billing, variation orders, claim management, and collections. Conduct periodic project review meetings and submit progress reports to management. Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. PMP/Project Management Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
Requirements 8-12 years of experience in IBMS, Building Automation, ELV, or CFS project execution. Proven experience in handling medium to large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, airport, metro, or infrastructure projects. Experience in customer-facing project management roles.
