Experience in commercial and military Fan, Low Pressure Compressor, and High Pressure Compressor analysis is a plus. What You Will Do
Structures support across all phases of the design cycle, concept initiation & optimization, preliminary through detailed structures, development, validation, certification, manufacturing, and operational service. Conduct, improve, and lead structures analysis on components and/or assemblies, to ensure that designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable. Identify and correct structural issues within work scope to ensure project completion. Help with new products and processes and improves and maintains existing products to help create better products or processes and ensure that the current and future needs of the business are met. Perform Finite Element Analysis with tools including Ansys and Teamcenter Simcenter. Complete multidisciplinary task and/or work closely with other Cold Section Engineering CIPT disciplines (Design, Heat Transfer, Structures, and Aero). Candidates must be willing to work in an on-site environment.
Qualifications
You Must Have B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience or Advanced degree with 3+ years of engineering experience Mechanical Structures engineering experience (1+ years) U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications
We Prefer M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering Proficiency in Teamcenter/Simcenter, Ansys, and classical methods of analysis Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
