Practice Highlights 60% Oncology / 40% Hematology See an average of 22+ patients per day. Clinic hours M – F 8 -5 Tuesday and Thursday Tumor Board Practice Responsibilities: 80% office, 10% inpatient, 10% admin. Call frequency: 7 weeks per year Member of the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance for clinical trials Systemwide Epic (EMR) system .

Responsibilities

In alignment with NCCN guidelines, order and oversee diagnostic testing; prescribe treatment and supportive medications; collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, research to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Clinicians, as required by provider licensure. Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum. Participation in tumor board(s) is required.
