Work Model: This role can be performed remotely from an approved location, with flexibility based on business needs and applicable requirements. ____________________ Position Title: Product Manager – Industrial Electrical Products Position Description: We are looking for a Product Manager to lead a portfolio of industrial electrical products at Marathon Special Products, including terminal blocks, fuse holders, power distribution blocks (PDBs), and related accessories. In this role, you will own product strategy, drive profitability, and lead new product development from concept through launch. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering to translate voice of customer (VOC) insights into actionable product improvements and new offerings. This role has direct impact on revenue growth, margin performance, and long-term portfolio direction. Principle Duties / Responsibilities: Own the full product lifecycle for assigned product lines, including strategy, roadmap, pricing, and profitability Lead new product development efforts and drive projects from concept through commercialization, including business case development and launch execution Gather and translate voice of customer (VOC) insights into product requirements, design improvements, and new product opportunities Collaborate with sales, customers, and key accounts to understand application needs and define product solutions Partner with engineering to develop specifications, performance requirements, and cost targets Work with sourcing and suppliers to manage cost, quality, and supply continuity, including engagement with global suppliers Develop and execute pricing strategies to improve margins and support growth objectives Support commercial teams with product training, technical documentation, and customer engagement Drive portfolio optimization including product rationalization, line extensions, identification of market gaps, and product lifecycle management Monitor product performance and implement actions to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets Prepare and present business cases, forecasts, and product updates to leadership Interactions: Engineering: Define product requirements, review designs, resolve technical tradeoffs, and support validation through development and launch phases Sales & Commercial Teams: Gather VOC, support customer engagements, align on market needs, and enable go-to-market execution Customers/OEMs: Understand applications, validate product concepts, and ensure solutions meet real-world requirements Operations/Manufacturing: Align on manufacturability, cost targets, capacity, and production readiness prior to launch Supply Chain/Sourcing: Engage suppliers on cost, quality, technical requirements, and continuity of supply strategy Quality & Regulatory: Ensure products meet performance expectations, compliance standards, and certification requirements (e.g., UL) Finance: Build business cases, manage pricing strategy, and track revenue and margin performance Leadership: Provide updates on portfolio performance, NPD progress, and strategic direction Cross-functional project teams: Lead collaboration through key development milestones, ensuring alignment on scope, timing, cost, and deliverables throughout the product development lifecycle Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related technical role Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field Manufacturing industry experience is required Experience with industrial or technical products is required; experience in electrical components or power distribution is preferred Strong ability to gather and translate customer requirements into product and business decisions Strong financial acumen including pricing, cost analysis, and margin management Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sourcing, and commercial teams Effective
